Our Story
Ayu Abroad Consultancy was born out of the shared vision and personal experiences of its founders, Prashant Dev Tiwari and Ayushi Makkar . Both founders, having lived, studied, and worked internationally, understand the challenges that students face when pursuing their dreams of higher education abroad. Their journey together started when they decided to combine their expertise to create a consultancy that would make the process of studying abroad simpler, more transparent, and far more accessible for students worldwide.
Prashant Dev Tiwari , the Founder of the consultancy, has had a rich academic and professional journey. After completing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from SRM University, Chennai, India, he moved to Germany to pursue his Master’s in Mechanical Engineering from Kiel University. His personal journey as an international student was not without challenges—navigating the complexities of admissions, visa procedures, and adjusting to a new culture inspired him to help others facing the same hurdles. Prashant's experience working for 4 years in the automobile industry in Germany, combined with his academic background, provided him with the insight and passion to guide students toward successful educational experiences abroad.
Further expanding his qualifications, Prashant completed his MBA from Riga Technical University in Latvia. This experience, combined with his strong knowledge of German and Latvian, as well as his time spent living in Europe for over 5 years, gave him a unique understanding of both the academic and practical aspects of studying in Europe. With firsthand knowledge of the obstacles students face, Prashant founded Ayu Abroad Consultancy to provide the right guidance, mentorship, and resources for students to achieve their dreams.
Ayushi Makkar, the Co-Founder of the consultancy, complements Prashant’s expertise with her own diverse qualifications and experience. She holds a Master’s in Commercial Applications, along with a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) certification. With over 4 years of experience as a Project Manager in the Localization Industry, Ayushi brings in-depth knowledge of global project management, financial planning, and strategic operations. Her background in handling international clients and managing projects across different sectors made her an ideal partner for launching the consultancy.
Ayushi’s decision to join Prashant as Co-Founder was motivated by their shared passion for helping students navigate the complexities of studying abroad. Having lived and worked in multiple countries, she understood the need for a consultancy that not only offered expert guidance but also personalized attention to each student's unique needs. Together, they envisioned a consultancy that would bridge the gap for students looking to study abroad and offer them tailored services from application to post-graduation support.
